George’s practice centres on business organizations, tax, business acquisitions and sales, banking, insolvency, commercial real estate transactions, land development and condominium development.
George began his legal career in the field of corporate and commercial law with Stikeman, Elliott in Toronto. George has been a Partner with Graham Partners since 1991. In 1998 George completed his Masters degree in law at Osgoode Hall of York University, focusing on insolvency matters. He has been involved in various complex municipal corporate re-organizations including reorganizations for Barrie and Innisfil Hydro.
George is a former director of the Gryphon Theatre in Barrie, has been an instructor in real property law at Georgian College and is the Past President of the Greater Barrie Chamber of Commerce, and the Rotary Club of Barrie. George is a former director of the Association for People with Special Needs and a founding member of its Foundation.
