Christine Manners has been with HGR Graham Partners and one of its predecessors, the Law Firm of Hacker Gignac Rice, since her call to the Bar in 1986. Christine attended the University of Western Ontario where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts and her Law Degree. She then articled with a large firm in Toronto before returning to her home town of Orillia.

For the first 15 years of her career, Christine practiced out of the Midland office. Since 2000, she has been practicing out of the Orillia office. In her practice, Christine focuses on Wills and Estate Planning and Real Estate law. Christine is a much sought-after speaker to local organizations especially in the area of Estate Planning. Christine has also organized and chaired the annual Wills & Estates Advanced Planning Summit for Advisors held by the firm.

Christine has also been involved in the management of the law firm as part of the Management Committee and fulfilling the role of Managing Partner.

Christine has been and continues to be the head of the Wills & Estates Practice Group at the firm since its inception.

Her career with HGR Graham Partners has allowed Christine to practice in a wonderful
work environment while recognizing the importance of family and a fulfilling personal life. Christine is married and has a son and two daughters. Christine’s interests include running, kayaking, skiing, hiking, travel and photography. Christine has participated in numerous organized runs to raise money for charity and recently completed a half-marathon. Christine is most pleased with her recent accomplishments of hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu and walking the entire Camino de Santiago in Spain (Camino Frances). All 880 Kilometres!
