Michael focuses his law practice in Family Law, Litigation and Immigration. He built upon his interest in law by working as a clerk for the Ministry of the Attorney General in both the Ontario and Superior Court of Justice.

Michael was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario and is excited to continue developing his practice in Simcoe County. He is a graduate of the University of Waterloo with an undergraduate degree in Legal Studies and a minor in International Studies. He then went abroad to the U.K. where he attended the University of Exeter and was actively involved with international mooting competitions, such as the Jessup Cup and the European Law Society Association’s EMC2 competition.

Michael articled at a full-service firm in Downtown Toronto and had carriage of a number of family law and small claims court files. After articling, he was selected to participate in the Canadian Bar Association’s Young Lawyers International Program where he worked with the International Development Law Organization (IDLO) on the reformation of the Prosecutor General’s Office in Ukraine.

Outside of the office, Michael may be found dragon boating, outrigger canoeing, playing soccer, hiking, or spending quality time with his friends and family.
