Michael’s practice is focused on Residential Real Estate and Wills & Estates. While primarily based out of the Barrie office, Michael is happy to meet with clients at any of the firm’s offices across Simcoe County.

Michael was born in Newmarket but grew up in Barrie with his family. Prior to attending law school, Michael earned an Honour’s Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Studies from Niagara University in Niagara Falls, NY, where he was also a member of the university’s NCAA Division I men’s soccer team.  He then attended the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom and graduated with an Honours LL.B. degree. Upon his return to Canada, Michael worked for five years at a leading plaintiff personal injury firm in York Region.

In 2022, Michael returned to his home in Simcoe County and joined HGR Graham Partners LLP. He is thrilled to be able to offer legal services to the members of the communities in which he grew up and in which he continues to live with his wife and their dog, Molly. When not in the office, Michael enjoys travelling, camping, playing soccer, golfing (poorly), skiing, and supporting his beloved Celtic FC.
