HGR Graham Partners LLP provides students with excellent exposure to a diverse group of practice areas of the firm and allows them to explore a variety of legal topics, learning from the some of the top legal professionals in Simcoe County. Beyond our mentoring program, HGR also works hard to provide students with a culture that values strengthening our communities. We strive to provide our students with the best opportunity to learn, grow, and become great lawyers. We have had a tremendous amount of success with out student programs as many of our associates and partners have been through our student programs.

Summer Students

Our firm welcomes law students each year to participate in our Summer Student Program. Students will gain practical, hands-on experience which will allow them to gain a thorough understanding of the day-to-day functions of the firm. Primary responsibilities will involve legal research, drafting legal documents and correspondence, and assisting staff with a wide variety of administrative matters. These responsibilities will allow students to build a solid foundation that will serve them throughout their legal careers.

We are accepting applications for 1st and 2nd year law students, please apply by February 28th annually. Applications will be reviewed, and successful applicants will be contacted for interviews.

Articling Students

The Articling Program at HGR will allow articling students to dive deeper into the various practice areas of the firm with a particular focus on the primary interests of the student. Formal rotations and an established mentorship program will build upon individual strengths of students to allow them to become well-rounded and successful lawyers.

All of our students are encouraged to foster their interest in community involvement and will enjoy being part of an inclusive culture that focuses on teamwork and excellence.
